THE AGONY, THE ECSTASY AND i
The Blue Room Theatre 2013
Two women interrogate the global supply chain of the little bits of metal and plastic that sit in our back pockets. Based on Mike Daisy's monologue 'The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs", Toyi-Toyi Theatre use dance, projection and text to confront the ethics behind our electronics.
Devised in response to monologue The Agony and Ecstasy of Steve Jobs by self-professed gonzo-journalist Mike Daisy, we created a dance-theatre work where everyone is complicit.
